“We wanted a venue that would allow us to transform the space into our vision; a space where we could utilize local vendors of our choosing and incorporate all our DIY projects.”
The Story
Theirs is an unconventional one. Ariel & Alex both signed leases in a mutual friend’s multi-bedroom house. After a year of being roommates, Ariel & Alex realized they found their better halves in each other! The roommates totally appreciated the couples attempt at being stealthy (everyone knew they were head over heels for each other!) Fast forward to their Four Year Anniversary Dinner, Alex got down on one knee in front of the couple’s favorite mural on the Asbury Park Boardwalk. The rest is history!
The Couple chose the Pavilions at Penfield Beach both because of their desire to incorporate the beach in their nuptials as well as their desire to avoid a “one stop shop” venue. “When we walked into Penfield, we were blown away. The view is incredible and the actual Pavilion is the blank canvas we were looking for. We knew almost instantly that this was the venue for us!” Ariel
The vision for their wedding?
Boho beachy, relaxed, fun party.
